Cities are in desperate need of replacement from old age and wear. Water contamination can occur at almost any point in the delivery channel including lead leaching from corroded pipe solder, bacteria entering the system from water main breaks etc.
If you live in an area where the water is heavily salinated, hard, or if you have to use underground water, and total dissolved salts (TDS) in water exceed 80 PPM, it is advisable to install an RO-based water purifier.
Many TDS meter are available in the market that test total dissolved salts in the water.
RO filters are form of water purification involves forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane, which filters out a select number of water contaminants, depending on their size.
They are known to remove arsenic, nitrates, sodium, copper and lead, some organic chemicals, and the municipal additive fluoride, but are not as effective as the ultraviolet filters against bacteria and viruses. These are essential in areas where contamination levels are high.
RO Service is distributer for RO products like RO Water System, RO filters, RO Membrane, RO cartridges, UV Parts and other RO Spare parts.

Sometimes we look for the service engineer with low service charges and do not focus on the cost of the parts he is charging for.
Everyone is willing to minimize the expenses so to look at the low service charge is not a bad habit. But one should never forget to focus on the cost of the spare parts as well.
Lets take an example. Suppose my RO Water Purifier has some technical problem. I called up 2 different service engineers. The visiting charges of one service engineer is 150/- and the another service engineer charges 350/-.
Most of the customer will go for the service engineer who charges 150/-. Now the service engineer visits and says that the Pump of RO is not working. He installs new pump and charges 2800/- as the cost of the new pump.
A lot of customers are ending up spending a lot of money in replacing the RO Membrane.
Membrane is an essential part of any RO Water Purifier. Most of the time RO membrane stops working as it is clogged. There are various reasons of getting it clogged.
Once the membrane is clogged it throws all the water out from the waste output line and the clean water output line stops throwing out the water.
The clogged Membrane can be opened and used again.
Sometimes the service engineers take away the old membrane with them. They can get it opened and install it on another customer’s RO.
